As a primary care sports medicine physician, Dr. Hedge provides comprehensive preventive and wellness care for active patients of all ages. Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, he completed his family medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic’s Fairview Hospital and his sports medicine fellowship at Duke University Hospital.
Dr. Hedge has extensive experience serving as team physician for high school and collegiate levels. In his last role, he was the head team physician for Winthrop University and has also served as the event physician for USA Canoe and Kayak, USA Swimming, Thunder Road Marathon, 2012 Modern Pentathlon World Cup Series, 2011 Worlds Strongest Man competition and the Charlotte Cycling Criterium. Originally a graduate of Worthington Kilbourne High School, he has now returned as the official team physician for the school.
Dr. Hedge is currently a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Currently living in Powell with his wife, son and golden retriever, Dr. Hedge enjoys running, playing golf, weight lifting, listening to music, traveling and watching all kinds of sports – especially The Ohio State Buckeyes.
